Corporate tax in Bulgaria
Bulgarian companies pay 10% flat corporate tax on annual profit. It is not an income tax, meaning that company owns it not on the annual revenue which it accumulates but on the annual profit if there is such. The profit is estimated based on the financial year which is the same as the calendar year. In most cases the tax is due until the end of April the next year.
Example: CoolCompany Ltd. makes €10 000 profit in 2018. The company must pay €1000 in taxes no later than April 30, 2019.
